Stressline change privacy policy

In line with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Stressline has updated both our privacy policy and cookie policy. The GDPR legislation came into effect on 25th May this year, and two weeks in we are measuring the impact of the change.

The legislation has come about primarily due to the progression and fast development of technology, and how consumers communicate and are communicated to via the ever increasing digital methods and new technological advances. Whilst it is a key change for consumers, and business to consumer (B2C) businesses, it does also affect business to business (B2B) firms as well, albeit to a lesser extent.

A key change that the legislation addresses is transparency with people’s data, that means that companies must be clear on what data they hold, how they secure it, what it is used for, and how customers can access it (their own data).

At Stressline we hold very little personal data on customers and website visitors, that very rarely extends beyond a name and email address, however, we must still comply with the new legislation, and because we take data seriously, we want our customers to understand exactly what information we hold, and why.
