Stressline’s new health and safety officer Richard Beasley brings with him a wealth of experience.
As part of our on-going commitment to health and safety in the work place, we are delighted to announce that we have appointed Richard Beasley as our new Health and Safety Officer.
In this challenging role Richard’s remit is to work closely with the Factory, Production, Transport Management and Supervisory teams to improve health and safety policy and undertake relevant projects such as risk assessments, develop the H&S procedures throughout the entire 25 acre site and generally promoting a positive health and safety driven culture.
Starting his health and safety career in 2005, Richard brings with him a rich CV including experience at a Rugby based company called DK Group Investments Ltd. As a Group Health & Safety Officer, Richard was there for almost six years. His role at DK was to manage all aspects of health and safety. This included all procedures within the multi-sited group which includes both contract packing & packaging production companies and to ensure that all health and safety policies, procedures and legal matters comply with company procedures.
During his time at DK, they received the ROSPA occupational gold award for health and safety for the last four years.
Well Qualified
As well as his experience, Richard has completed courses in both IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) and NEBOSH (National Examination Board of Occupational Safety and Health), as well as various other courses including operator license awareness, further underpinning his qualifications for this role.
When asked about his appointment Richard commented:
“Working at Stressline is a fantastic opportunity to develop the health and safety procedures throughout the business; compiling and implementing new health and safety initiatives and promoting a positive health and safety culture.”
Outside of work, Richard enjoys football, travelling and campanology as well as spending time with family and friends.
Richard started at Stressline in April, and is already working hard to further enhance the health and safety practises throughout the site.
