Wide Inner Leaf Steel Lintels
Wide inner leaf (WIL) steel lintels are specifically designed and manufactured with an inner leaf able to support blockwork up to 150mm. Like their standard counterparts ‘WILs’ can support masonry loads, uniformly distributed timber floor loads, and uniformly distributed roof loads, again for roof loads an HD (heavy duty) type is required.
As with all of our steel lintels, wide inner leaf lintels are easy to install and have a galvanised finish. They also offer thermal efficiency. WILs are available in six cavity width increments – 50mm, 70mm, 90mm, 110mm, 130mm and 150mm. Each type has HD, XHD (extra heavy duty) and CXHD (composite extra heavy duty) variants, please see our steel lintel load tables for more information.

Wide inner leaf lintels are available in 6 cavity sizes – from 50mm to 150mm. The inner leaf is designed for up to 150mm brick or blockwork.
Like all of our steel lintels, our wide inner leaf lintels are easy to install and multi-purpose. The galvansied steel construction means a strong and durable finish – perfect for almost any building job.
It offers excellent thermal efficiency with built-in continuous insulation.
Wide inner leaf lintels also have a built-in plaster key or a perforated base plate to inner flange.
