Rolled Steel Section Lintels
Rolled steel section lintels or RS/RSC/RSJs as they are often referred to, are for the most extreme loading conditions. Often required for openings of 3.6 metres or higher, they are the heaviest and most robust type of steel lintel on the market. There is also a ‘channel’ version or RSC available and both RS and RSC lintels can be produced for cavities up to 150mm.
Unlike our other lintels, RS lintels are coated in red-oxide paint. They feature a 6mm welded bottom plate manufactured to BS EN 10025 – 2 of steel grade S275. Please see our steel lintel load tables for more information.
Rolled steel lintels are available from 900mm widths. For more information on RS and RSC steel lintel sizes and prices please download the brochure section below. For the full brochure you can download it from our downloads page.
