The new Safan Darley customised M-Shear allows us to cut up to 6m steel lintels
On 19th July we took delivery of our new steel lintel shear, which has been ordered to increase production levels and efficiency of our steel lintel production.
The new shear is a 6m Safan Darley M Shear that has been customised specifically for our own uses, and to a bespoke specification.
The new shear was put in place upon delivery and staff training is taking place so that it can be put into production with immediate effect.
Approximately 26% of our lintel sales this year have been steel, and with the new shear we are expecting that percentage to rise exponentially.
The new shear demonstrates Stressline’s commitment to investment as Chris Fox, our Managing Director explains:

The new shear replaces the old 4m shear and will, at full capacity, enable us to double our production output of steel lintels.
Training on the new shear started immediately after installation.
One of the biggest advantages of the new shear however, is that it will enable us to produce lintels in lengths up to 6m.
