NBG Conference

The NBG Conference 2016 was held at the beautiful Celtic Manor Hotel & Resort.

Stressline’s relationship with the National Buying Group (NBG) was strengthened even further following the highly successful NBG conference at the Celtic Manor on 8,9 and 10 November.

The prestigious event was held over three days and included a Bavarian styled dinner, exhibition, charity football match and gala dinner.

As a key supplier to NBG members, the conference was a fantastic opportunity for Stressline to enhance our relationship with members of the buying group, many of whom are current customers, and several more showing interest.

With a heavy Welsh storm battering the prodigious hotel and resort, the three-day conference started with the obligatory offloading of exhibition material, followed by an evening of Bratwurst, lederhosen and what sounded like tone-deaf yodelling.

With the fun-filled evening behind us, we replaced our traditional German-feathered hats for our company attire and adopted a significantly more professional approach for the exhibition.

Cast Stone and Exhibition Stand.

Our stand featured the brand new Cast Stone point-of-sale sample box.

Exhibiting our Wares

This was a terrific event with many NBG members in attendance and in a receptive and jovial mood. This, in turn, allowed us to converse with many about our ever expanding range of lintels, floor beams and cast stone products.

We conducted some very productive conversations with the visitors and were able to show off our brand new point-of-sale sample box for our range of cast stone – something that went down very well with all who viewed it.

Gala Dinner with Comedian

The conference was finished off with a superb Gala dinner and awards ceremony which was hosted by the quick-witted Welsh comedian Mark Watson. Several awards were distributed amongst suppliers; unfortunately, none coming our way… but there is always next year.

The whole three days was a huge success for us and we thoroughly enjoyed a very well organised event by NBG. Our relationship continues to be strong, and we are working on several projects and offers to develop this further, and help even more NBG members create successful businesses.
