Gemma Wilson, Stressline’s 12 year expert of accounting has boosted her recognition amongst her peers by becoming a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) as well as an Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA).
“This qualification from CIMA, highlights her qualities and reinforces her role within the company.”Chris Fox, Managing DirectorAfter a rigorous process spanning several years, Gemma submitted her final paperwork at the turn of the year to be awarded this distinguished qualification.
Gemma can now use the letters ACMA and CGMA after her name in a professional manner, but more importantly, she will undertake annual CPD hours to make certain she is up to date with the latest management accounting skills and knowledge; ensuring she and the company are on top of their accounting procedures.
The process to achieve this status is no mean feat, and Gemma has undertaken and passed several exams on topics including strategic and risk management, financial strategy, organisational management, and financial reporting and taxation.
In addition to the exams, Gemma submitted her assessment of practical experience which in itself was a mammoth task. Her work was cut out for her as she spent months compiling her work for assessment by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – the world’s largest professional body of accountants.
Managing Director of Stressline, Chris Fox, spoke about Gemma’s achievement.
“In Gemma, we have an exceptional accountant and a great colleague. This qualification from CIMA highlights her qualities and reinforces her role within the company. We are all very proud of her, and personally, I would like to congratulate her on a superb achievement.”
